Military Life: Stories and Poems for Children
This is a children’s story book with a collection of poems and short stories that are specifically written for military families. Each of the authors live or have lived the military life and understand the stresses, strains, pride and joy that come from being a child in a military family. They write about deployment, moving, pride, making and losing friends, having a space of your own, etc. The book covers all the things that military families can connect with and the stories will give your children a better sense of not being the only one that feels the way they do.
