No Matter What By: Debi Gliori
This book caught my attention because in the corner was a a sticker that said ‘Send a Story’. The cover is designed so that you could address the back, write on the inside cover and send it to a family member. I thought that this would be a great thing for a deployed member to take with them (it is light) and then send home for a family member. It is smaller than your average children’s book, not to heavy and this one has a great message.
No Matter What tells the story of a fox called Small that doubts their parents unconditional love. Small then asks if he would be loved if he were a grumpy bear, squishy bug, etc. He asks about the length of love and if it has an expiry date. Small is reassured that love is endless, timeless and has not limits.
