Tip #12  – Record Your Voice

When you are away (on deployments, courses or training), hearing your voice can be a tremendous comfort to younger members of your family (nephews, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, etc.).  There are great books, created by Hallmark, that are perfect for doing this.  You can get Christmas ones like, “The Night Before Christmas” or one just to make sure your family knows how you feel about them like, “Guess How Much I Love You” and “All The Ways I Love You”.  They are easy to use.  There is also an online instructional video on how to record and save your voice reading the book.  You can even add your own comment at the end of the book.
