Tips for Military Families – Weekly Routines

Weekly Routines and Responsibilities –

When my husband is away responsibilities and routines change.  People have to take on additional responsibilities and we do things differently or in some cases, we can’t do all of the things we do when my husband is around.  I am only one person.  I think it is really important to set up a routine that everyone is aware of and post it on our fridge.  Below is the routine chart from our Family Journal that I use.

This chart helps all of us see clearly what things are important to our family, what we are doing all week so that we can plan around each other and our activities, and children and teens love having some predictability.
